The Lord Nelson Victory Tug is a very fine example of a strongly-built tug capable of handling serious conditions. Featuring solid fiberglass hulls and decks, heavily built with over eleven layers of fiberglass from the keel to 6" above the waterline and seven layers above that. She was one of the first yachts to utilize iso-vinylester resins for increased strength and to prevent blisters. She has a full-length ballasted keel for stability and prop/rudder protection.

Board through her high safe bulwarks by means of convenient dockside doors on both sides. Enter the stunning saloon through beautiful double doors. The interior design is that of a yacht from yesteryear. Taking full advantage of her nearly 17 foot beam this is a remarkably large space for entertaining or living aboard in comfort. Featuring exquisite teak and holly sole and fine cabinetry throughout she has a very warm yet sophisticated elegance. The large wrap-around settee to port features a custom teak convertible table for dining or gaming. To starboard is a beautiful leather couch with convertible table. The forward area of the saloon has the large u-shaped galley. Designed for long durations away from the dock she features a large pantry, separate top loading reefer and freezer with compactor to the left. A three burner gas range with oven. There is ample storage for both kitchenware and supplies, and counter space that rivals most home kitchens. Continuing forward down four steps to starboard you will find the laundry room with Splendide washer/dryer, basin and shower. To the left enter the master suite featuring over seven feet of headroom. It's located midships to afford great comfort while underway. She has plenty of room for a walk around queen berth and dressing table/writing desk. The aft wall has an exquisite book case that cleverly rotates to gain access to the engine room. Going back to the galley we will find ourselves going up to the nerve center of this massive yacht, her wheelhouse. Large enough to include a separate captain's cabin with Pullman berth and hanging locker. She also has a wonderful u-shaped settee with table for guests to join the Captain while underway. Huge wrap around bridge windows provide excellent visibility. To the aft port there is a nav/chart station with swivel chair. The wheelhouse can be accessed easily through large dutch doors on either side. From the port forward wheelhouse we go down curved stairs into the elegant forward guest quarters. This ensuite cabin features queen berth, built-in seating, and plenty of hanging lockers and drawers for comfort. She is heated with a Hurricane hot water furnace and has three heat control thermostats throughout the living spaces.

With full ballasted keel it is nice to know that tank testing shows that she would right herself from a full 90 degree knockdown!
Commentaires du Broker
This is a rare opportunity to present a pristine example of the Lord Nelson Victory 49 Tug. The bones are strong, the hull is tough, the look is sturdy, yet she is very elegantly presented inside and out. There is not one square inch inside that does not showcase lovely teak joinery. I am particularly fond of the serious pilothouse that is a complete joy for a captain and crew. She includes a generous u-shaped settee with table for the crew, and a comfortable pilotberth. Maintained continuously by her knowledgeable owners she is ready to take you anywhere in the world you want to go.
