The Maxi 1000 is a Swedish cruiser/racer which is comfortable yet capable of quick passages.
Seaworthy, solidly built. and designed by Pelle Petterson, the famous Olympic and Admirals Cup sailor. They were a development of the Maxi 999 which was produced between 1985 and 1992 when the 1000 started production. The model remained in build for 10 years with more than 1,000 built.
The accommodation, for seven, has been well thought out leaving you feeling you are on a much larger boat, She is easily handled by just two or even single-handed with the self-tacking jib.
This boat is fully equipped and ready to go. She has been looked after exceptionally well, as is evidenced by the photographs and videos. The current owners have spared no expense on her and she is a real credit to their care. A year-by-year history, in the sixteen years of their ownership, demonstrates all maintenance, improvements, and new fitments item by item.
